ESF partnered with Flynn Wright to produce the 2026 Visitor Guide, and the biggest change in this year’s guide is the use of bold, new colors seen throughout, along with dozens of new advertisers.
“Our creative has traditionally leaned into deep, warm tones, so when Flynn Wright introduced a more vibrant color palette, there was some initial hesitation,” said Krista Orsack, ESF director of marketing.
“As the design evolved, the colors became seamlessly integrated with the vivid imagery and emotional impact we wanted to convey.”
“Sioux Falls has evolved well beyond its past perceptions,” Orsack said. “With the city’s continued growth and momentum, the introduction of vibrant colors better represents the confidence, creativity and excitement that define our community today.”

The Official Sioux Falls Visitor Guide — also available in a digital format — provides a comprehensive overview of attractions, dining, lodging, events and shopping throughout the city.
Viewed by people all over the country, the Official Sioux Falls Visitor Guide is a valuable resource for both those who already have plans to travel to Sioux Falls as well as those who may be in the inspiration phase of their travel thoughts. It’s more than just a magazine. It’s a primary part of the ESF marketing strategy and often treated as a first impression of the city for those who have never visited.

“Our team takes a tremendous amount of pride and gratitude in knowing that our Sioux Falls Visitor Guide has become a trusted publication for things to do and see in the city,” ESF CEO Teri Schmidt said. “Regardless of what stage people are at in their travel planning, our hope is that they can discover experiences and must-visit spots that will make for a memorable stay in Sioux Falls.”
