A Lancaster County flooring business is reporting someone stole more than $8,000 of flooring after a fraudulent credit card transaction, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

Martins Flooring at 608 Dwight Road in Brecknock Township told police on Dec. 3 that someone took $8,369.82 worth of flooring, state police announced Sunday.

Public Information Officer Trooper James Grothey on Monday said the purchase was made online with fraudulent credit cards and was not flagged before the flooring was picked up.

The type of flooring stolen was listed as “Shaw Flooring Springfield Oak Cortec Vinyl Plank Flooring.”

Police have not said if there are any suspects and are still investigating. Martins Flooring did not respond to a request for comment on Monday.
