A monkey caused chaos in Morristown by damaging a local business and instruments at the Trade Center. Police and animal control are actively searching for it.
MORRISTOWN, Tenn. — The Morristown Police Department is searching for a monkey that did damage to a local business on Sunday morning.
MPD said officers responded to a call about a Cinnamon Capuchin monkey at the Trade Center on South Cumberland Street around 8 a.m.
MPD said the monkey did damage to the business, along with some musical instruments.
Animal control was contacted and was unsuccessful in capturing the monkey, MPD said.
