Fingular, a global FinTech holding company headquartered in Singapore, has announced the opening of a new hub in Malaysia, marking another step in its long-term strategy to build an international presence while supporting flexible and collaborative ways of working.
The new hub, located in Kuala Lumpur, has been designed as a modern and comfortable office space to support part of Fingular’s growing team. The company said the hub will provide an environment tailored to employee needs, reinforcing its focus on creating productive and engaging workplaces across different regions.
Importantly, the Malaysia hub will not be limited to the local team. Fingular confirmed that the office will be accessible to employees across the entire organisation, allowing staff based in other countries to work from Kuala Lumpur on either short- or long-term assignments. These visits will also enable teams to take part in joint working sessions, combining the flexibility of remote work with the benefits of in-person collaboration and face-to-face communication.
The company currently operates its headquarters in Singapore and maintains an established team hub in Serbia. The addition of Malaysia reflects Fingular’s broader philosophy around global growth, which prioritises both geographic expansion and the wellbeing of its workforce. By creating physical spaces in key markets, the company aims to ensure its teams remain connected while gaining closer exposure to local cultures and user behaviours.
Fingular said it plans to continue opening offices in every country where it operates. This approach is intended to allow specialists to immerse themselves in local markets, strengthening the company’s understanding of regional customer needs and supporting the development and scaling of its products globally.
Commenting on the announcement, Fingular CEO Maxim Chernushchenko said, “For us, global expansion is not only about markets, but about people. We want our teams to feel connected, supported, and inspired — wherever they choose to work. Creating spaces that encourage collaboration and personal growth is a key part of how we build and scale our products.”
The opening of the Malaysia hub comes as more FinTech firms adopt hybrid and distributed operating models, balancing remote work with physical locations that foster collaboration, innovation and cultural alignment. For Fingular, the move underlines its commitment to building a globally connected organisation while maintaining a strong local presence in the markets it serves.
