Pizza business holding fundraisers for families of 2 victims killed in shootings

UNION COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – An Upstate restaurant announced it is hosting fundraisers for the families of the victims of two deadly shootings.

Roma Pizza of Union announced 25% of all proceeds earned on September 28 and 29 will go to the family of Kiran Patel. The restaurant said a fundraiser of the same percentage for the family of Charles Crosby will be held on October 5 and 6.

The Roma Pizza holding the fundraisers is located at 441 N. Duncan Bypass, Union, SC, at West Town Plaza.

The shootings happened on September 16, according to officials.

Officials said Patel was shot in the morning and Crosby was shot in the evening.
