Business tidbits: Muchas Gracias restaurant coming soon in Yakima, new businesses in Zillah | Business

Table of Contents

At least one of the former Yakima Taco Time locations will have a new tenant soon. Muchas Gracias Mexican Food, a chain founded by Rodolfo Sanchez de la Torre in Oregon three decades ago, announced it will open a restaurant at 2111 S. First St.

The restaurant’s menu includes breakfast burritos, tacos, burritos, tostadas, enchiladas, quesadillas, tortas, combination plates and desserts. According to the Muchas Gracias website, the meats are cooked slowly and each salsa uses local produce.

There are numerous Muchas Gracias locations in the Portland and Vancouver area, and Central Washington restaurants in Cle Elum, Ellensburg, Kennewick and Richland.

According to a Nov. 14 post on the Muchas Gracias Facebook page, “we’re incredibly excited to announce that our grand opening is coming very soon.” The post is accompanied by a video showing renovations inside the Yakima restaurant.

The restaurant had a variety of construction vehicles parked outside on Friday, Nov. 22, and a banner was seen announcing it would open on Dec. 5.
