Inspired by a mother-daughter appreciation for British culture, Pillar & Post offers a mix of antique furniture, art, ceramics, linen, barware and home accessories from leading British brands. They also feature contemporary British artwork and antique engravings.

Violet Salon is known for its highly trained and passionate team, dedicated to providing excellent service. They make it easy to find the right stylist, offering personalized care and guidance for every client. Services include hair, nails, makeup, waxing and bridal styling.
1052 Thomas Jefferson St. NW
A family-run bakery crafting small-batch treats prepared from family recipes. By day, it’s a cozy café serving handcrafted coffee from roasters all across the country. At night, it transforms into an intimate wine bar and listening room.

The Lantern Bookshop sells used and rare books including hardbacks, paperbacks, postcards, maps and vinyl as well as compact discs. It was founded and is run by volunteers and all their books, prints and other media are donated. Since 1977, the shop has raised over $700,000 to help women attend Bryn Mawr College.
