U.K. budget airline easyJet reported a higher headline pretax profit for its fiscal fourth quarter, helped by revenue increases across its core airline business and its expanding vacation-services unit.
The company said Tuesday that headline pretax profit, which strips out exceptional and other one-off items, rose to 773 million pounds ($1.01 billion) in the quarter ended Sept. 30 from 724 million pounds in the year-earlier period.
