Local businesses in Bryan are offering deals and experiences for Small Business Saturday as part of an effort to support the community’s economy during the holiday shopping season.
Destination Bryan is coordinating promotions across multiple local businesses, including complimentary beverage tastings at Hush and Whisper, and deals at Brazos Glassworks, KinderHill Brew Lab, Woodhouse and 6Whiskey.
“We have so many amazing small businesses here in Bryan. We’re excited that you can get some really good savings and kind of get a head start on your Christmas shopping this Saturday,” said Lina Adams with Destination Bryan.
Most businesses will offer deals on Saturday, with some extending promotions throughout the week or into the holiday season.
Adams said supporting local businesses creates a cycle that benefits the broader community.
“A lot of these local businesses, they give back. You’re supporting this local business who then is going to turn around and support our local schools or kids in need,” Adams said. “When you support local, you’re supporting your community and your local economy.”
The deals span multiple categories including drinks, retail, spas and experiences. Many local businesses also offer online shopping options for customers who cannot visit in person.
