Three women charged with kidnapping after incident at east Birmingham business

Three Birmingham women were arrested on kidnapping charges after an incident Saturday, November 15.

The Birmingham Police Department said 32-year-old Aissatou Camara, 30-year-old Julia Ondo, and 45-year-old Gwadys Audrey Nzinga Koumba were each charged with first-degree kidnapping, and third-degree assault.

Police said the relationship between the women are business owner and employees, adding that the incident happened at a business in the 9400 Block of Parkway East.

All three women were taken into custody Friday, November 21.
