THE WHAT? APR Corp., parent of K-beauty brand Medicube, is in talks with Walmart and Target to expand its limited US offline distribution.
THE DETAILS The push follows a more than 250% jump in APR’s US sales to 980 billion won (US$670 million) in the first nine months of 2025, driven mostly by Amazon and TikTok Shop. Ulta remains its only physical retail partner, prompting the company to pursue additional big-box channels.
THE WHY? Building a broader offline network is key for APR to compete at scale in the US and reduce dependence on e-commerce amid shifting trade conditions.
